A8 Portfolio

Project Overview: reformat your projects in one document to be used as a portfolio print out
Due Date:  end of class 1/7 or use AT and turn in by the 16th
Grading Parameters:  LT4 (see our template folder for a checklist)

Portfolio & Archiving

Your files and portfolio highlight your new technical skills, hard work and the creativity you put forth this semester. This is great evidence to show how you have explored creative problem solving. It is highly recommended you put your new software knowledge on college applications and resumes.

  • Your student space will be expiring soon! This means Sunset does not necessarily save it for you from year to year. Back up all your work on google drive

  • Saving your work in pdf format will allow you to look at your designs on computers that do not have Illustrator or other Adobe Creative Cloud software

  • Your printed portfolio should consist of at least 5 pages (add more if you like)

Cover Page

Make an abstract background cover page by just designing freely, by finding a tutorial online or using one of the tutorial links below. to create an abstract background. Add some text to your cover - Lastname Design?

Workflow

  1. Create a blank letter size document that is made up of 5 or more artboards

  2. Copy & Paste your projects into this new document - reformat to your liking

  3. Consider adding some descriptive wording

  4. Consider adding a title page

  5. Save document as a pdf

  6. Turn In your Lastname A8 pdf file into the Graphic Design 1 A8 turn in folder located on the "classes" server
